\\ HOW MUCH DOES ADMISSION COST?
General Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for kids 11-17. Kids under 11 free with a paid adult.
VIP admission is $25 and includes a SWAG bag, and entry to Cosmic Bowling, and a VIP badge

\\ CAN I BE A VENDOR/ARTIST/PRESENTER?
Due to COVID-19, we are currently on hold booking new guests and artists, but if you click on the "waitlist" link at the top of the page, we will notify you when we are opening applications.
\\ IS RATHA CON FAMILY-FRIENDLY?
Totally! Nerds and Geeks of all ages are welcome. In fact, kids under 12 get in free with a paid adult. HOWEVER, please note that some presentations and events might be less suitable for younger children (Examples include things like swordfighting workshops). There will be a fun kids-only room set aside for crafts with a pop culture theme. We also can't control what costumes people choose to wear, so there's a chance you might see a creepy or scary costume on the con floor.
\\ CAN I LEAVE AND COME BACK?
Yes, you can get a wristband/badge for re-entry throughout the day.
\\ DO ANY ACTIVITIES HAVE RESTRICTIONS?
You will need to sign a waiver for some workshops, and there will be age restrictions on the quidditch game and some of the workshops. We are adding activities all of the time - there may be something with restrictions added later.
\\ CAN I WEAR A COSTUME?
Of course!!! (Keep in mind Ratha Con is a family-friendly event, so we appreciate it if you keep your costumes at least PG-13, if you know what I mean...)
\\ WILL THERE BE A COSPLAY/ COSTUME CONTEST?
Yes! We have an adult (12 and older) and a kids contest (under 12). Adult competition categories are divided into Novice, Journeyman, and Master. There will be prizes awarded for best in each division as well as honorable mentions and judges' choice awards. Click Here for full contest rules and information.

\\ I'M COMING FROM OUT OF TOWN, WHERE CAN I STAY?
There are several hotels close to the Athens Community Center, check out the info page for details. There are also camping options available at Stroud's Run state park, Lake Snowden, and in the nearby Hocking Hills Region.
\\ CAN MY COMPANY BE A SPONSOR OF RATHA CON?
We'd love that! Send an email to our event coordinator - and we'll get right back to you! We are also looking for in-kind sponsorship if your company would like to donate items or products (Example - snacks and beverages for our special guests)

YES! We definitely need volunteers. If you can commit to a full volunteer shift, you can get free admission to the convention. Follow us on facebook, we will put out a call for volunteers a few weeks prior to the event. \\ RATHA CON IS A NON-PROFIT?
YES! We have just become a non-profit organization of our own! We will partner every year with another local non profit to help raise funds for causes we care about. In 2019, we are partnering with Stuart's Opera House's after school music program. We also work very closely with both ARTS/West and the City of Athens.
